Quite frankly concrete stained floors and concrete overlay stained floors and polished concrete aren't for everyone or every situation but when they are, decorative concrete floors can add an enhancement to your decor that no other flooring options can. Seamless concrete flooring maintenance is as easy as dust mopping and an occasional damp mop. Compare that to carpet cleaning, stained and dull hardwood floors and dirty tile grout and you can see there just may be a better alternative.

Color Samples and Sample Boards   
When you decide to use our firm for your project we will install concrete stain color samples on your concrete (in an inconspicuous space such as a closet) or in the case of an overlay we will be happy to create a custom sample board so you can get an idea what you're concrete stained overlay floor will look like.
Moisture Testing and Concrete Surface Inspection
The two major reasons for failure of and deteriorization of concrete stained floors and concrete stained overlay floors as well are moisture and the improper preparation of the concrete surface itself before installation. Inexperienced installers and even most experienced installers are unaware of the potential problems associated with both of these areas of concerns.

We have not only seen most of the problems associated with this area but have experienced and corrected them.

We will not cut corners in the production of our products. A long time ago and several service calls later taught me that it is better to spends the extra amount it takes to use the finest and highest quality ingredients available, so we import a good deal of the key ingredients used to manufacture our products. What this means for you are beautiful floors that will last and last and you will have to do very little maintenance; dust mop, occasional damp mop and you're good to go. What more could you ask for?  

While we do everything in our power to stay competitive with other contractors we will not sacrifice quality for quantity. The only way we can offer the quality of service and warranty that we do is to use the highest quality trained technicians and products that we can. Please do not ask us to use lower quality products to meet your price requirements unless you are prepared to have us reseal or restain your project in a few years, which is the cost of using inferior products.

Just think of the floors that you have seen where the stain has worn off where people walked or floors that seem to have no shine or sealer left. The cost to redo the floors down the road far exceeds the cost of installing them correctly the first time. You wouldn't ask your plumber, electrician, physician or lawyer to lower their prices in order to provide you with lower quality products and services, we only ask the same respect for our highly specialized service.

Maintenance and Care of your Beautiful Stained Floors
Our floors are pretty much self-sustaining but they do require a minimum amount of care. We will instruct you as to the proper way to take care of your floors. It never ceases to amaze me how many calls we get from across the country with folks asking how to care for their floors, I guess the installer just didn't know or take the time to tell them, not what I call customer service.

Basically the proper way to care for these floors isn't much; dust mopping, an occasional damp mop and applying a floor finish 1-2 times a year depending on the amount of foot traffic. Waxing your floor takes about 15 minutes and 30 minutes to dry, compare that to cleaning your carpet 4-6 times a year or cleaning and resealing your tile grout several times a year and you can see which flooring option is easier to maintain.

With polished concrete floors all you have to do is dust mop and an occasional damp mop. No waxes or floor finishes are ever needed to keep that wonderful gloss shine.

If we told you that our floors were completely indestructible that would not be true. You may have a few pieces of furniture that could use the small felt or plastic pads to protect the floor; we will tell which ones to apply these pads to.

In virtually all instances we will apply two-three coats of floor finish to our stained and overlay floors as the last step in our installation process. Our policy is to supply you with a year's supply of:

**NOTE: No matter what sealer is applied to your floor a floor finish is always a good idea to act as a sacrificial lamb for your sealer with our stained and overlay floors.

A few customers have asked if we will install a true wax on their floors, our answer in most cases is no. The reason why is we have found over the last eight years that the advancements in floor technology for sealers and epoxies have made the use of wax all but obsolete in all but a few cases.
